Protect Women & LGBTQIA+ Migrants
Global
Around the world, families are being pushed from their homes by war, economic collapse, and the accelerating climate crisis. MADRE and our global partners are there when people have nowhere else to turn, supporting those facing displacement, deportation, and the threat of being torn from their families.
In Mexico, we sustain a sanctuary network that offers food, medical and mental‑health care, and reintegration support to people caught in the US deportation system. Our partner Fondo Semillas ensures expectant, young, and single migrant mothers can give birth safely, with holistic prenatal and postnatal care rooted in ancestral midwifery and traditional medicine.
As shelters overflow with women, girls, and LGBTQIA+ deportees fleeing abuse, MADRE strengthens these safe havens with legal aid, psychosocial support, and “Know‑Your‑Rights” outreach.
Your generosity delivers safety, dignity, and hope when everything else has been stripped away.
